The Twelve - New Colours?

Post by kev017 »

Hi All,

I've might heart set on a Twelve, but can't decide which of the colours to go for. I seem to remember reading somewhere that CW might release more colours in the future. Does anyone know if this is true? If it is, I'd be inclined to wait a little longer to see what they release (if they indeed do)

Thanks

Kev

There is a fair range already. Are you looking at 36 mm or 40 mm? Steel or titanium? Those parameters will obviously dictate your choices of colour to some extent.

The Dial Artist was taking on new work recently. You could commission yourself a one-off in whatever colour you like!

One of the CWE members (Facebook group) mentioned they had a showroom visit over the summer, and learned that one of the new dial colors for the the Twelve would be red/copper.

I’m not sure if that means that color is coming in October or at some other time, but a red option would be great.

The new Moonphase and a red 12 coming out in the same month is going to be quite a month 🫨

Has there been any info on whether the new Moonphase IS the new Twelve?

Interesting theory I haven’t heard before. That would be cool!

Indeed. I haven’t heard MF or the company say that. But with all of the talk about how this is the “year of the Twelve” (MF’s words) and how a very special version of the Twelve is coming in the fall (same), it seems plausible that their talk of a new Moonphase is for their next version of the Twelve.

Only 4ish weeks before we find out.

I’d assume the JJ04 Moonphase caliber is a bit thicker than the regular SW200. I’m not sure how much extra room the Twelve case would have for that
