I really like the Ti version, thinness and dial finish.

It really gives me Czapek/Zenith vibes which is a good association.

I still notice the dreaded maligned CW logo has made its way back on the bracelet.

Brilliant!

I think CW need to patent this name for the dial texturing. “Chichén Itzá” dial.

Which will probably become known as “It’s a chicken”

I'll buck the trend here, I just don't like it :(

Integrated bracelet, an overly fussy dial texture, hex screws on the back where nobody can see them, a weird name and crown guards like 1980's shoulder pads. I get that it's a(n) homage but I can't wait to never buy it. Really underwhelmed by this product launch, roll on the SH21 mk II and really hoping it's something more exciting.

There is no micro adjustment. However, the removable single links are short enough so you should be able to get a good all-round fit. There’s a similar clasp on my Ulysse Nardin and it’s absolutely fine.

During the zoom preview, I recall Mike France mentioned that the person who did all the macro photography did a great job.

I made me wonder if some of the zoomed-in detail pics shown (which are now on their site) were actual macro photos rather than what I was assuming was CGI. Since I know nothing much about photography, someone more knowledgeable may wish to chip in.

On another note, they did say that if this collection sells well, they may release a smaller version of the Twelve. Even though I've declared my collection complete, that future possibility may make me reconsider.

I was luckily enough to see the actual in the metal in a visit to CW towers. It is actually amazing, the finishing is of the highest order. The Ti version is just out of this world, it feels so comfortable on the wrist and the dial is a work of art. They have really knocked it out of the park. Well worth every penny.

^^^^ Yes; my understanding is a confirmed release, rather than a reaction to the market.

+1 here. I'm not keen, but then again I've never seen the appeal of an AP Royal Oak either. I really don't like textured dials covered in squares, waffles or whatever else they might be. Plain and boring with a splash of colour please.

However, the world would be boring if we all liked the same things.

It may be my northern dialect or my uncultured background, but I’m struggling to see what the dial has to do with chicken tikka……

@iain ”Chicken Tikka” dial is probably not quite the connotation they would be looking for. You’re just trying to curry favour, aren’t you. :-k

That’s a shame, as someone who adjusts their watches roughly two times a day I personally wouldn’t buy another watch without a micro adjust as fit is super important to me. Would have been a killer watch if they had figured this out with the clasp. Maybe in a future model.
