I agree, and grade 2 is my only hesitation. Will CW ever use grade 5 Ti?

I also wonder about refinishing. Does CW’s service still exclude case finishing?

BC? = Bel Canto?

Yes; the Bel Canto is Grade 5 Titanium.

So that'll be a majority of the Admins then?

Interesting. :-k :-k

Personally I like it and am tempted as I have mentioned previously in this thread and with a sleep and some reading I can see the whole homage argument BUT it’s pretty impossible to create a integrated bracelet watch without the comparisons. I suppose that yes it is too close to the Czapek I’m blue but other colours look great. We as fans have to zoom out sometimes and remember that we are such a tiny % of the customer base even smaller still being watch nerds. Cw have to follow the pound notes and trends, Joe blogs will know the popularity of this style and if they can have a slice of that for a slice of the price then why wouldn’t they. Our trouble is that we are too nerdy and it does cloud our vision sometimes. I think I will get the white one but will hold out for a Father’s Day discount or summer sale.

Well said @Amor Vincit Omnia and I've slept on it too. Growing on me fast. Initially I saw a bit much PRX, then oh gosh, Antarctique, then you see it for what it is. A darned good watch. I still can't see Genta: that's a good thing but so what?

My 'no hurry' is as much about having something incoming for which a honeymoon period is appropriate, but also I want to see how it wears on a skinny wrist. SHOULD be OK but a PRX is not quite, so...and a 39mm R.O. I tried on (a client has one) and found it a monster.

I saw from a review in the comments below about the rubber strap "Why would you buy an Integrated bracelet watch and not get the bracelet?". As you say, perceptions. It's not an 'Integrated bracelet watch', it's a watch that has an integrated bracelet. Two kinds, metal and rubber. Take your pick. Let's not get caught up with labels, let's wear a watch we will enjoy. Uncomplicated really.

I very much like the two titanium models - the fumé dials appeal a lot, the purple in particular, but I already own a purple fumé dialled DiRenzo Mondial, also Swiss made, but in steel (and possibly the inspiration for the purple Ti). It cost me substantially less than the titanium Twelves (under half of the Ti models), so I guess I’m sticking with the steel one I have… I also really like the H-link bracelet as well, which has the choice of either a butterfly clasp or a conventional deployant clasp if you need micro adjustment. Yes, the CW purple dial is gorgeous, but the Mondial one is no wallflower either.

I suspect they’ll be a bit of a hit though, they all look great.

Just ordered the TI in purple on a rubber strap, would have liked to try the metal strap but I have wrists that expand in warm weather and without any quick adjustment on the strap it would be unwearable.
I'm someone who usually goes conservative in my watch colours, black or white, this is a quite a big leap for me.
Who knows might even start wearing socks that are not black :D

Nice watch but I'd go for the Tissot Prx if I was going to go for a piece like this

I’ve ordered it on the bracelet but will probably add the rubber strap to make it a bit more versatile.
