My GMT-Master is perfect for my needs, but, as I enjoy a bit of variety I have a few others to keep it company.

It's like the perfect car, the perfect hi-fi, the perfect house, the perfect wife. It doesn't exist.
According to my beloved the perfect wife does exist; it's her and I'd better keep on saying so many times a day

Yes. My Breitling B-1 is my perfect watch. Absolutely love it and wouldn't change it or part with it.

can't say i could ever make that choice. i could find "the perfect watch for me this week." but i might be in a different mood next week. or my taste may evolve (they certainly have the first 6 years of my obsession, but i think that's slowing down). or something more perfect might come out that changes my mind.
the "g" is for Greg...

Closest to perfect. Easily my most frequently worn. Drop-dead gorgeous (IMHO) and gains on average 0.5 s/d since date wheel repair and regulation in the summer. The Speedy allows it some leave but nothing else gets a look in.

My new white dial C60 Trident GMT is pretty darn close. But...if I ever find my perfect watch, that would mean there would be no reason to continue buying and collecting watches. So, no, I will NEVER find my perfect watch.

My perfect watch would be cheap to buy and morph into whatever watch I wanted to wear that day or a couple of times a day.

On here the perfect watch is an urban myth.
Some members have come very close to a 1 watch collection But we are all collectors or enthisasts at hart.
There is always something lurcking in the background and a few that are sentemental that you just can't let go off.
