I think the Blue makes it a little more casual than the Orange and White & Orange. The truth is I'm nuts over that shot from Goldfinger of Sean looking at his Submariner...divers are a man's watch! Since I can't afford a Rolex and also don't want to walk around these rough Providence streets with an Omega, I think this is really appropriate for me and I think it's original enough. I've been looking at all sorts of divers out there around £623.60 and up and I kept coming back to the C60 and Makaria. Are you getting your C60 for Christmas, Mpi?

I think it's quite a unique design which is one of the reasons I was attracted to it. You know you are not going to see that many other people wearing one. I was set on the white to start with as I thought it would dress up as well as down the best but the blue really is different and striking and will work almost as well. The internal rotating bezel is a really nice feature and another reason i like this design. It's certainly feels like a mans watch, I'm certain if somebody tried to mug you for it, with the size and weight you could use it as a knuckle Duster just like James Bond did in one of the books.

I like the traditionional diver shape but there are a lot of Rolex, Seamaster looking watches out there that most people would not be able to tell apart at a distance, not so with the Makaria. In it's understated industrial way up close it oozes quality, refinement.

The C60 is a lovely looking watch, the wave face design is really something, it stands off the face, almost like a 3D effect from a film. When you look at it up close you can see the quality, if you know you stuff you'll see that hands are different from all those other watches, the location of the date, no date magnifier etc. I will have one at some stage, maybe a GMT as I really like that feature. If a used or nearly new C60 comes up at the right price I'd jump at it if I had the money. I'd love an Omega one day but at the moment that money is needed for other things.

Before I send my Blue back because of the hair under the glass, I just took these pictures. I had to use color correction in IrfranView to fix the brightness because without the flash it is very dull. I say these are 99% correct to what it really looks like. The lume was from a bright room and flashing of the camera. I'd say it was good. I don't dive but it was bright enough to see. It was really bright at first then settled down as time went. Hopefully this may help someone in their order for Christmas. Again, these are edited but look just like the real thing, just a tiny-bit brighter.
