Thanks! Looks like IWC did a tie in a few years agomagicman wrote: ↑Sun Mar 13, 2022 10:08 pmHas anyone else done a Jacques Cousteau tie in.Kansas City Milkman wrote: ↑Sun Mar 13, 2022 9:31 pm Got it! Jacques Cousteau, legendary Diver, was born in Aquitaine.
Do I win a prize? Will CW pay my mortgage off or my fuel bills for a year (both extortionate but of equal value I think!) for getting it right
Seems an obvious choice now.
I know him for diving ,but he was much more than that, I read.
If your Correct, I think a nice "Red Beannie" hat as a prize would be fitting !

And, yes, of course you deserve a prize-
I think there may be a few CW jigsaws or an Al Deere left

watching you fail in your quest for a “one watch” has been great entertainment

There is a story that she presented her son, Richard the Lionheart, with a beautiful golden bowl. It had salad in.missF wrote: ↑Sat Mar 12, 2022 5:46 pm Just read quickly through the story of Eleanor of Aquitaine. Apparently her grandmother was called Dangereuse, and the king when she was growing up was called Louis the Fat...
However, to read through the list of academic subjects, languages, sports, arts, crafts and activities that she mastered as she grew up was mind blowing (history seems to record only that she was beautiful...).

Either that, or a “standard” Sealander black dial and an SH21 movement. I must admit that the images of CW’s latest GMT LE is very tempting, but I fear I am going off the sapphire dial. It makes the dial too busy for me?
A simple, steel sports watch with a high grade, COSC movement would be a winner!
Keep well,

Just read on FB that they'll be previewed at Worn & Wound's Wind-Up Watch Fair in San Francisco April 22-24.

Re: The future is Aquitaine... ?
I am hoping it will be a dress style watch so I would not want to buy. I was lucky that the C63's are 39mm which is a little small for me (41-22 is what I prefer) so I was able to hold off buying. If they come out with a 41mm, I might pick something up. I did find something in the prototype sale though. I am saving for something and do not want any other distractions, LOL. I have a feeling this might be the diver with the audible alarm though. But, with 3 different watches with 3 different complications in this collection, it will most likely be very tempting.
