We are aware that the CW website is showing images of the Aquitaine range at present, but believe this to be an error as the links do not work. As such, please refrain from posting images on the forum until it is clear that the launch has been formally made, which is due for tomorrow. Thanks.

And now they have gone again!

CW quite often do a ‘soft launch’ on the site the day before the launch date. That’s why I’ve checked the site a few times today. :)

You posted this as I was preparing a post with the pics pulled from CW’s very public website.

While this seems to happen a lot, indicating CW maybe even WANTS the images to be spread, and they were posted online in a very public way and are now out there no matter what anyone wants….

I’ll acquiesce. We’re just all excited!

I think it happens far too often for it to be a slip-up. And as I mentioned on the FB group, if it wasn't intentional their web developer really needs to investigate using a dev/test environment.

8am PCT? since the Wind-Up show is in SF
I would say when you see the article hit W&W we are set. The Fair is running Friday-Sunday. So there must be a press blitz scheduled for tomorrow.
will the CW website list the new model before WornAndWound?
Early SANFUs aside, I would guess it will all go live at approximately the same time.

I would bet that they don't really have one. It happens all of the time because they are using a 3rd party CMS (SalesForce I think). All it takes is for someone to mess up the date/time for publishing and there it goes. They are far from the only ones that this happens to.

We do what you are suggesting where I work. We have a full version of the website internally where every change is tested before moving it to the live site. Even then unexpected stuff happens and stuff breaks. But, we built the site ourselves.

I suspect the issue is they set it based on the wrong time zone, perhaps they need a GMT to help them…

If you really want to see one though, go back to forum posts from 1985 - a user named McFly has posted all the details in a thread called - Aquitaine goes back, to the future.

The Watchpro release is up, nothing on the official site yet. Much as I like the speculation it's heartening to see forum members respecting the terms of the early unveiling, and well done to the admin team for their fair direction.

Official video on CW Youtube, will provide a link if permissible or not if we need to wait for the white smoke from Mike France.

Naughty "Watchpro" for bending the embargo. And they got the pricing wrong. :D :D :D

Well the Aquitaine cat is out of the bag now. Enjoy.

Thanks goodness for that... some of the attitudes from some people elsewhere (not here) about "why can those that have seen the preview, not mention anything, especially now it's been leaked... etc, etc" were a tad "interesting"

Good luck CW with the launch of this lovely new range
