I am not sure why it took me so long to become aware of CW - I stumbled across the name on WUS and was surprised to see it's a British company. Been drooling on their website for the last 2 weeks (BTW their website doesn't work so well with pictures for iPad - the zoom feature appears off the the left of screen).

New member first time posting. Very excited as I take delivery of my first CW watch today. The C9 Harrison 5 Day Automatic. After chatting with Peter Ellis and the lovely Jorg Bader at QP Salon they and their passion just won me over (maybe the goodie bag too!).

Of more interest to me, what was in the bag when you chose your forum user name? My guess is either old superman comics (think Mr mxyzptlk) or pills with equally unpronounceable names!

He posted once over a year ago and hasn't been back since, so I doubt we'll ever know :(

I have 6 CW watches now and could not agree more. Often the same movement and beautifully made but at a much better price. I love my Jumping Hour watch and the Slimline Malvern. I have just bought a C4 in gold, again a fab looking watch. I have over 80 in my collection and more Christopher ward than any one other brand... Dean
