You can't go wrong with either, the ceramic bezel is incredible. Looks and feels great.

Always buy on bracelet and sort out straps, rubber or otherwise, later.fishman wrote:Any opinions on the rubber strap vs bracelet?
I dislike watches on bracelets, both on me and on others, so I have no use for them. Is that what you meant by an opinion?fishman wrote:Any opinions on the rubber strap vs bracelet?
It's an opinion yes, but probably not one I have much use for. Was that what you were afterPsalty wrote:I dislike watches on bracelets, both on me and on others, so I have no use for them. Is that what you meant by an opinion?fishman wrote:Any opinions on the rubber strap vs bracelet?
Hey, as opinions go, yours is at least as good as mine. Fishman asked and I gave. Now he has yours, too.gaf1958 wrote:It's an opinion yes, but probably not one I have much use for. That doesn't seem pertinent, but perhaps I am missing your point.gaf1958 wrote:Yes, however I wasn't answering his question, but yours.
That's an opinion so, yes and thank you.Psalty wrote:I dislike watches on bracelets, both on me and on others, so I have no use for them. Is that what you meant by an opinion?fishman wrote:Any opinions on the rubber strap vs bracelet?
You are most welcome. To drill down a little, to my eye a beautifully formed watch can stand on its own, and the strap is in a position to augment the watch by contrasting or highlighting the detail in texture, form, material, and color. A heavy link bracelet does the opposite, and spreads the form around the wrist, so the watch case itself tends to disappear. Whether you like that effect or not will probably dictate whether you are willing to put up with the pros and cons of bracelet vs. strap.fishman wrote:That's an opinion so, yes and thank you.Psalty wrote:I dislike watches on bracelets, both on me and on others, so I have no use for them. Only for those who wears an oversize watch on the wrong part of their wrist....Psalty wrote:I have never used a bracelet, but I assume they are awkward when typing on a laptop?

Neil
Definitely the C60 300 with red bezel and rubber strap. It's so beautiful I'm considering using it as my beater instead of a black automatic. Don't know if I prefer the orange or red bezel though.fishman wrote:Well, I'm considering two ideas for a watch to be worn while swimming and other water related outdoor activities. The Trident C60 300 black dial , red bezel with rubber strap or the Trident C65 classic black dial with the rubber touch black strap with red stitching. Thoughts?

Most cost effective way to buy.
