There's some variety here! It must be a Best Of CW kinda thread
I have 2 CWs and while they are somewhat different I just can't split them.
My first CW was/is a C65 Trident Diver. I enjoy the hand-winding experience and that big clear charming face makes me smile each time I wear it. I like it more today than when I was having the honeymoon more than 2 years ago so can't say better than that. A bit big for Sean Connery's James Bond but he would have loved it.
My second CW is the C63 GMT Polar. As mentioned previously, CW nailed it with this watch, so versatile, moved the game on, robust for almost anything and it looks great. Comfy and a perfect size for me. Ummm, CW makes great watches.

A very nice lot, are we now we are free to help with the decision? The C600s gets my vote. It’s a theme I usually avoid, but there a steampunk vibe to this that really works. I think it’s the patina on the bezel against that blue dial. What exactly did you do to mod this one?
The C600 was sent to Jay at Motor City Watch Works who blasted off the PVD finish. He then painted the numbers in black. He’s also done a yellow one for me. Good man to deal with.

Sorry, but I just can’t keep up with all the variants. This old man NEEDS PICTURES!!

I only have the one (so far)......the C63 Sealander Automatic - Green face on Steel strap but it's an absolute beaut.
Judging by what I've seen, I would suspect my next purchase (although how long it will take to persuade Mrs Rothko, I'm not sure) is likely to be the C65 Dartmouth, which is utterly gorgeous as well.

Having owned both I think I agree- the C63 is probably the best value Watch I’ve ever owned and I loved the green dial.
While the Dartmouth is potentially my first CW “re-buy” as I really do miss it and the guaranteed accuracy made it a great grab and go daily wearer. On my last trip to Sicily I took only one watch- the Dartmouth- with a bracelet, quick release leather strap and a pair of natos. It worked perfectly for every occasion.

Wow, what a great thread question, I've lost sleep thinking this one through!!
Of the eight CW I own, I am of the opinion that my C60 300 RN Submarine Service is my Best. It has a story how it evolved through CW (Bespoke) thanks to forum member Gregster, but it took me a bit of investigating to purchase. I bought it after my retirement from the RN after a 30 year career and so its only right that this is my best

I have really enjoyed wearing many CWs over the years and the Makaira, Typhoon and Abyss SH21 stand out.
This is my favourite though.

Fantastic watch and strap combination. Who make the strap? I think that I need to get one for my green C63 Sealander GMT.

This should hopefully fuel a lively debate…
Back in September, reviewing my newly acquired C63 Sealander GMT, I finished with the following:
My conclusions: I’m going to stick my neck out here and say that I think this is the best CW watch I have owned.
I can’t say that it is CW‘s best ever watch, because I haven’t experienced most of them, except fleetingly in Declan‘s Room of Wonders, or on display or adorning another person’s wrist at a GTG. There may well be other worthy and viable candidates for that accolade for all sorts of reasons. However, I think that the C63 range in general has to be right up there.
You will notice that I hedged my bets slightly because I couldn’t come right out and call it CW’s best ever watch. So I limited the accolade to my own personal experience.
Well, six months on and my personal best ever CW may have a rival. I am aware that the New Watch Love Goggles are still on, but I am really taken with my latest arrival, the C9 SH 21 Small Seconds Chronometer. Early days, but first indications are that this could well turn out to be a real winner. I kicked myself for not buying one when they were introduced, and I’m thrilled to have one now. I’ve heard lots of great things about the SH 21 movement, so now it’s time to see for myself. Set at midday yesterday, this is how it looks after 30 hours. Doing what it says on the tin, I think.

Again, I’m limiting my judgements to my own experience. I have no doubt that the Concept and the Single Pusher Chronograph, among others, will have their supporters. And I’m sure there will be others.
I have said my bit so I will sit back and enjoy this. We are not counting and we are not keeping score; just having a bit of fun.
What is your best ever?
Go for it!
I have a Youtube watch channel, and will shortly be reviewing the Sealander GMT. CW kindly asked to produce one for them, but sadly I have to return the watch

I've owned a fair few CW's and it's difficult to pick a favourite, so many great models.
The white dial, red bezel C60 mk2 stands out as one of my favourites, despite owning and then selling two of them (a 38mm and 43mm).
Of the more recent models I think the C65 range has been a triumph - a really beautiful, svelte and well designed case. I've owned two - the bronze Ombre until I realised a bronze watch and associated patina is not for me, and the C65 Dartmouth which I am wearing at the moment. I think it achieves the remarkable feat of looking good on almost all wrist sizes...again due to that lovely case.

Am amazed to not see a Super Compressor among these. It looks like a very fine watch to me...

Without a shadow of doubt my favourite CW watch. I was completely out of my mind to sell this black sand model, especially as I knew it would be tough to replace.
I own 2 CWs at the moment, Sandhurst and C5, and while both fantastic watches, they can't hold a candle to the SC.
The detail and finishing on it is out of this world, especially when considering the price point.

At last! And what a photo. I love the black sand and Ocean Blue version. If I ever pull the trigger on a CW then a Super Compressor would be a very likely candidate. The dial is hypnotic, particularly with the inward sloping indices. The light play must be incredible. The handset works for me too as I'm not a fan of the big arrow hour hand on the C60's and C63's etc. They nailed it with this one; and there's the whole revisiting of an earlier technology which appeals also. Bravo, Ryan.
