Taken the plunge

Post by Lordy »

Hi all. After reading few glowing reviews of CW watches on the Watchuseek forum and browsing the site I've just placed my first order. Getting a C5 Auto and the C70 RAF Ad Astra. I've been after a dress watch for the collection and think the classic elegance of the C5 looks fantastic. I couldn't ignore the he bargain on offer with C70 so chucked it in the order. I was planning on a Baume and Mercier but the style and value of the CW's seemed a better way to go.

If I'm as impressed as most others seem to be with my initial purchase I'll be adding a C8, C9 GMT and C60 Trident to the collection.

Excellent news- well done and welcome to the forum! Remember- pictures are essential so upload them when the watch arrives. Which B&M were you looking at, by the way?

Enjoy your time here- it is addictive!

The B&M was a Classima Executive XL GMT. I love the watch but can pick up several CW's for the same money. 8)

Welcome to "The Asylum"!

The C5 is certainly a classic in my view.... so pretty tough to go wrong there. I hope you too are impressed.

Great to see you have the disease and am looking forward to your contributions.

Sounds like you don't hang about! I am sure that once you receive your C5 and C70, the others will follow soon after and that will mean lots of pics please :D Welcome to the forum.

Welcome Lordy
Enjoy your stay. Please let us know when the watches arrive (there seems to be some unofficial mail service performance monitoring going on - especially Royal Mail and USPS not talking to each other).
Oh yes, photos with exotic "down under" backgrounds are most welcome. :)
