Surprise Fathers Day Diver :)

Post by spm17 »

First off let me say I honestly hadn’t planned on adding any watches to my collection so soon after my last few. My wife and son caught me COMPLETELY off guard and gave me this Christopher Ward C600 Tri Tech Diver Elite today for Fathers day. Talk about having a verklempt moment…I was and am stunned. :o And the watch is stunning too. :D

I love the look of it….the blue is really eye catching and changes shades depend on the light. It was hard as heck to take good pictures and get the true blue. The fit and finish is like my other two CW watches…perfect. The rubber strap is very comfortable…fits like a glove without rubbing or binding. The tritium lights are a nice color blue…easily seen in darkness though not as bright as others I’ve seen(and about the same as my Dievas Zeta Phantom). Tried but didn’t get a very good picture of the tritium. The bezel feels solid and each click feels precise(didn’t count how many though). I have never gone diving before but we’ve got a trip to Hawaii planned for next year so I’m thinking I’ll be taking this one and several of my other divers to use them in a real divers world situation. ☺ For now I’m just gonna rock it like a proud Dad.

What a thoroughly splendid surprise! The watch is an excellent piece too, no doubting that by looking at your photographs. I love the case and dial combination. 8)
