The only one I wanted was the Green 300 and managed to put in my basket. Even got thru to the name and and address part. Then, in true CW sale tradition I couldn’t complete sale. Kept clicking on “Continue to Billing” but no further.

Even when I left page, it was still showing as available. So added to basket again, but no luck again.

To add insult to injury, when it was sold out a CW email reminded me I had an item in my basket and would I like to complete my order.

Went back in, to be told order cannot be completed because items in my basket are no longer available. Are they taking the ****

I never have trouble checking out. I’m logged in, credit card and address on file. Add to basket, continue to billing and hit the buy button. Gotta be prepared when things are this frantic.

I was logged in, credit card and address on file.

Got to buy button, but nothing happened!!

I was prepared, but I forgot about CWs tendency to screw things up at sale time!!

Glad it worked ok for you.

I was particularly annoyed because some members had pledged not to take my 300.

Strange that there are no nearly new dune’s in the sale. Nobody buying those or all buyers so happy that they dont return the watches lol.

The Dune is pretty new and, I think, quite appealing. There is one listed by @missF in the Sales Corner here. There was one NN I spotted in the sale preview. If I didn’t already have a couple of the smaller C65 watches that share the same case as the Dune, I’d have snapped up one myself. I want one but struggling to justify yet another watch. :)

That’s definitely disappointing :(

I tend to pay by Paypal now, to avoid any credit card delays. I would use PayPal anyway, but especially in a CW sale for speed.

Credit card delay wasn’t the issue!

It's not just you. I looked at a couple of models today which were listed as available but the ADD TO BASKET button was paled out. At one point yesterday I had a watch in the basket, clicked to proceed to payment and was sent back to jail without passing go with a message about stock levels would not permit my order to be processed.

Is it an issue when there are actually multiples of the same watch & strap/bracelet combo behind one listing in the sale? Is it an issue of several buyers trying to buy the same watch at the same time?

Right now the Sale page is showing 16 results but if I select ALL filters there are 15 items. Another quirk!

31 hours from London to New Jersey, USA…. Order to delivery. Incredible as usual by CW and DHL.

One heck of a lovely piece. 40 mm 300. Strap monster, comfortable, beautiful. That’s a winner!

I'm just spectating for this sale. Watching to see what other anglers are catching. Like the previous sales, you need to set the hook quick to bring home a trophy.

Does anyone know if CW continue to drop watches into their sale - trying to work out if I should keep checking the sales page?
I missed out on the c60 ombré green bronze (couldn’t get through the to the payment screen 😞)
Thx

Welcome. Do please visit the Member Introduction section and tell us about yourself. 8)

They do often put extra watches into the sale after a day or two, so keep looking.

@footycrazy :thumbup:

The idea has been expressed that people might be holding off on these because the dials are pre-Swish stock and still using the left justified wordmark at 9 o’clock.

They are a decent bargain if someone is looking for a Trident and can live with that.
