I started with zero experience of working on watch bracelets. The first one I resized was a pin and collar job from Casio. My first foray into screw pins was resizing the Twelve Ti bracelet.

Although new to watches, I'm not new to spanner and screwdriver shenanigans, and be it on cars or watches, the rules remain the same:

The correct tools of a good quality
Never force it
If it doesn't want to move - heat is your friend

The Twelve Ti bracelet was a doddle and I've since resized the only other bracelet I have, the stainless item on the Blue Marine SH21. This was also easy..

I was keeping an eye on the sale for a bracelet for the Aquitaine, but didn't spot one. I must say, I prefer the Sealander on a strap!

Edit: I use Wera screwdrivers.

My C60 Trident arrived and it does look great. I have some problems however. Any suggestions appreciated.

It came on the hybrid strap and I’m afraid I find it either loose or too tight. Not really CW fault but damn frustrating. Then my sale canvas strap arrived I took it out of the box and had trouble fitting it. It was a bit big to fit between the lugs. Correct size but a bit stiff and tricky to fit. I managed it though but then turned it over and I had damaged it. Ten minutes out of the box. The canvas was unraveling.

I tried it on. Miserable. Same sizing problem. Double miserable. I have emailed customer service asking for a new one.

I have a NN Bader strap coming so hopefully with the micro adjustment that should be better. I should say that CW have said they will do a links fitting adjustment for free.

It a shame the other straps don’t fit great as I thought having different straps was a really fun option.

^^^^ Give it some time for the strap to bed in and mould to your wrist. You can help by rolling it between your thumb and fingers.

I often have the same issue, but find after a few day's wear I use the tighter hole.

Options, very comfortable on the wrist

I quite like rubber straps but they all seem to have the same awkward seam just at the join with the watch. This is a £120 strap! Just clumsy looking. At least the CW Vintage seems perfect.

I usually go with a strap but have been looking into getting my first watch with a bracelet. Nervous about sizing though.

Welcome to the forum. There are several threads on the forum on sizing bracelets. It isn't that hard after you do it a couple of times. Please do introduce yourself Member Introduction
