Strap holes

Post by stevie p »

Hi, just recieved my C11 Auto. Delighted with it, but as it seems with many other owners the strap is too long. Can anyone advise me on the best place to go to get some more holes punched in to it. Thanks.

Hi and welcome!

I had the same problem... I think the best option is just a local jeweller's if you don't want to mess with your CW's strap yourself. As I said in another thread, it cost me two euros here in Finland. Shouldn' t be very expensive anywhere. Then again, for future need, there's a solution in this thread: http://www.christopherwardforum.com/vie ... 53&t=10265. Some very handy tools behind the few links there.

Hi Stevie,

Welcome to the small wrist club. I didn't look a Jape's link (anteeksi!), but I bought one of these as a handy tool. The hole of only a fraction bigger than the existing ones and does a very neat job.

We can't help being full figured specimens of the male form...

The strap on my C700 only has a couple of spare holes... 8-0

Cheers
