Factor I've found with CWL's carbon pattern rubber is that it is too stiff and doesn't mould to the wrist terribly well; ending up pinching the sides of my wrist.

It's a bit like wearing stilettos, they look good but aren't very comfy

Yep, I really like this watch. I agree that the lume is almost comical in its pointlessness but that does not detract from the watch in my opinion.

My C700 is on rubber, not massively clear from the photo. I like this combo but do find it more comfortable on the bracelet.

My favoured look is on a smooth black leather strap. This is a Hirsch Mariner with a CWL buckle. Looks good and it is waterproof.

My vote so far goes to the bracelet and the gator strap. If I ever get a C700, I think I'll have to try a GGB velcro tho

I purchased my C700 GR (my 1st CW watch) back in 2012 and it has the original logo. Looks great on the original bracelet, but I did fit a CWL black rubber strap for a while but found it to be too stiff, as mentioned in an earlier reply.
Definitely better on the bracelet, in my opinion.
It's due a service next year which I believe will be around the £150 mark at CWL of course!

That seems to be the general consensus. I'm really impressed about the service costs tho. £150 is really not bad for an automatic chrono. I've heard good things about CWL's customer service aswell. Take it there won't be a problem although I live in Norway? :)
