This would be my earliest Christopher Ward, thanks to Lindsey. There were different variants but I do like the stately black dialed version of the C1 Russell.

Re: Show us your early CWs!
My first CW, I acquired the black C9 GMT from its original owner in 2020, I think, dated 2012.

And I found the complementary silver color in the Harrison line a couple of years later. Also bought this one from its original owner.

My first intro to CW. The one watch I can never let go. XmissF wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2024 3:24 pm IMG_4584.jpeg

Still my favourite CW watch, though it hasn't been a One Watch for a long time. My first mechanical watch that started the whole journey.
The other two CW watches over the years that I love and rate highest are the Sandstorm and the Black Sand Supercompressor. CW do the standards so well now, and are doing the 'halo' stuff with style. But so long as there are occasional 'slightly-left-of-centre' watches like my top three then I'll be a happy watchie. I actually think that this is what CW have always done best - even if it's not the ranges that keep the sales rolling in![]()

Re: Show us your early CWs!
Thanks to everyone - some great watches and memories there!
As part of the idea was to show newer members how the Archive works, it would be great if you could remember to add a link. Thank you.

Re: Show us your early CWs!
What a fine thread! Thank you Steve.
I need to get up, group some watches in decent light and present some of my favourite watches be they C6/60 Kingfishers, C60 Mk1 Trident GMTs, C600 Tritech Elites or indeed the quartz chronos.
I think there's a busy morning at chateau tikka but I'll be back soon

Re: Show us your early CWs!
My first CW, bought new just over ten years ago. I have to admit I struggled to gel with it at first until I eventually realised that it was the bracelet I disliked. It’s not one of my favourites but can’t see myself ever letting it go.

This thread could be put in 2 categories:
1. The "CW Christopher Ward" logo
2. The "CHR. WARD" logo
to help show the evolution of the brand.

@RichM
Rich most of the CWs that I bought in 2013/14 were models that over their production run were available with both versions of the logo.

Re: Show us your early CWs!
C6 Kingfisher Quartz, 2 different black dial models, the two yellow dials are different shades of yellow but whether they were like that from new I can't say.
