Should the GMT hand be more central than this?

Post by AdDaMan »

Noticed my GMT hand hasn't been dead on for a while, this should be in the centre of the 11 and 12 markers right?

Also running at +12 secs a day now :-(

Yes but I thought its meant to be either on the markers or exactly half way between the markers hence the bezel.

Oh wait hold on. I'm just being backwards aren't I. That's as it should be as long is it ends up in line when the minute hand is at 12. Derr

No. The 24 hour hand is constantly moving, so it looks pretty much right to me.

To tell for sure, just line up the main hour and minutes hands exactly to an hour (say 12:00) and check the GMT hand is aligned exactly to an hour marker.

Also, I'm pretty sure +12/day is within the published tolerances for that movement.

Edit. Sorry, I see you posted again, just before my post. So please ignore me. :)

Are you not getting confused with the 11 or the 23hr dot?
