SH21 Collections

Post by theemaadhatter »

Hello all,
Many of you know me from over at CWE and I post here occasionally when I have something particularly interesting to share. Today it's my own little curated SH21 collection. I've had the pleasure of also owning the C8 Power Reserve in stainless steel and the C1 Small Seconds, both of which I miss sometimes. But here is what I am calling "greyscale" or "grayscale" depending on your dialect, as my SH21s. Happy to see other groups of SH21s in others' collections :) Cheers all.

Brian, thanks for this post. It's interesting to me to see the watches which I don't naturally gravitate towards. I'll compose a photo tomorrow in daylight of my C60 SH21s.

I only have three of these now (C60 Concept, C1 Grand Malvern & C65 SH21 LE), but this was probably the zenith of my SH21 collection, back in July last year. I did also have a C8 PR, but had sold that a few weeks before this photo was taken.

Anyway, it still stands as a lovely collection photo, even though not current :D

@Brian… You have a lovely collection 8) You will of course recognise the PowerGlow, as the very same you now have 8)

More recently I have also added the C9 Small Seconds too, so will try and photo the current (slightly slimmed down) collection and post that soon.

Just the one here. As far as I’m concerned it’s on the wearability cusp for a fairly dressy watch, but I love it. They would need to make more watches I like and could/would wear for me to own any more. I would also love to see a smaller and slimmer version of the movement which retained the excellent Chronometer performance. The way I wear watches, I wouldn’t need the power reserve, so I’d be quite happy to sacrifice some of that.

Those C65's are brilliant - the watch fund didn't allow them to join my collection when released - I've casually looked for them since. Any idea how many were released?
