Hello all,
New member here. I am planning to order a new Trident 300 40mm or a Sealander GMT, but am also seeking a titanium Watch. Is there something discontinued that I can try to seek out on the secondary market? My desired Specs follow…..
Max case size for me is 41mm, maybe 42mm if it has a really short lug to lug length. L to L length needs to be 48mm max. Height needs to be not much more than 13mm, so I can get it under a cuff and through doorways largely unscathed. I want a conventional, non push in crown. So, the Sealander Elite and the C60 Elite 1000 from the current catalogue are out based upon specs. Aesthetically, a diver, something motorsports inspired, or a chronograph (likely too thick, I know) would be to my taste. Finally, I would prefer numerical date or no date, rather than a day/date.
Anything from CW I could consider?
Thanks in advance for any input.

^^^^ From the selection available and considering your criteria, I'll advocate you look at the C1000 Typhoon which, although 42mm, from the experience of owning one a few years ago wears on the small side.

Thanks again Guy. The Typhoon L to L is reported at 52.2, just too long for comfort on my wrist.

I think most watches that would dwarf an average wrist might wear smaller on Guy’s wrist
There isn’t really anything in the CW catalog that looks like it fits your bill. The C63 Elite looks like a spectacular watch; too bad the crown would be an issue for you.
I’ve been very happy with my RZE Endeavor. That might be worth a look for you since it meets all your criteria.

Another vote for RZE from over here, great watches for good prices and good sizes... I've 3....

Whilst no specific details are available, it is clear from page 11 of the winter 2022 edition of Loupe magazine that a new titanium watch is on the way. It is also clear that it isn’t a dive watch.
Maybe worth waiting to find out?

I think I saw in another thread that you identified an older titanium CW that you might give a try. Which one?OffToTheSide wrote: ↑Sat Feb 04, 2023 4:15 pm Hello all,

Re: Seeking a smaller CW titanium w/crown ??
ajax87,
I am smitten by the C60 Elite GMT 1000. Having just ordered a C60 Trident Pro 300 in black 40mm yesterday, I semi-think that the Elite GMT 1000 in blue would make a nice stablemate. It is, however, MUCH thicker than the spec I set forth above, but I love the burly look. Realistically, though, I am an avid car/motorsports guy, and a three dial watch like a C65 chronograph would make more sense than adding a second (deep sea) diver. Thanks.

Re: Seeking a smaller CW titanium w/crown ??
That’s great! I think it would make a good stablemate too. It is thick but I’ve heard it wears thinner because of the titanium lightness. It’s still a pretty big watch, so it’s a good idea to go into it with that mindset and lean into the burly look. Best of luck with your decisions and searches!
