Saw this earlier too. I think I prefer it to the snake watch. A little more understated. Not enough to buy it though

Re: seconde/seconde Snake watch?
A lovely watch combining the best and nicest of both brands at an 'affordable' price.
200 piece LE for the British Watch Makers Day, Central London on Saturday March 8th.
If you sign up you might get the opportunity to buy if the 200 haven't been snapped up on the day.

Moser aren’t afraid to produce novelty watches themselves. Don’t forget they once released a watch made out of cheese……..
Iain’s Law: Any discussion on the Christopher Ward forum, irrespective of the thread title or subject matter, will eventually lead to someone mentioning the Bel Canto if the thread continues for long enough.
Re: seconde/seconde Snake watch?
probably a stupid question but what`s a seconde/seconde ? I checked out their website but still don`t get what they are or do really
its kind of weird to release a watch for a special celebration and then you don`t get the actual watch at that time but have to wait for months to get it. What`s the point? why not make everything ready to go?
I kind of start to dislike how many brands what their customers to up front support their business while they work to make their products. I get that smaller brands still do this but CW that`s now a multimillion company should be able to have their products in stock.

Out of interest, where does it say there are only 200.
I thought they would supply all orders within the order window.
Ah. I think that's a different watch, not the snake.

Just the general lack of Twelves I've seen out in the world. Wondering what their sales numbers have been like on those and if they feel the need to "get creative" to move them. There were also a bunch in the Jan sale, although they tended to be the 36 mm versions.

I think you'll find that the C12 range is CW's #2 best seller after the C60 Trident Pro 300.MichaelMD wrote:Just the general lack of Twelves I've seen out in the world. Re: seconde/seconde Snake watch?
I've no idea, but if CW sold, say 10,000 watches, not all would be sold in any one country. The chance of seeing one is probably quite low. I imagine it's the same with pretty well any particular watch you might mention from any manufacturer.MichaelMD wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2025 8:17 pmJust the general lack of Twelves I've seen out in the world. Seeing anyone wearing an actual watch and not a smart device, is quite a rare thing in itself, these days.JAFO wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2025 8:59 pmI've no idea, but if CW sold, say 10,000 watches, not all would be sold in any one country. Re: seconde/seconde Snake watch?
I don’t read Hodinkee much these days but this article about The Watches of the Year of the Snake was quite good.
I quite like the Longines one.
The Twelve Snake is rather fittingly the seconde/seconde one mentioned.
