I like it. It's very unique and out there, but the nostalgia of snake is a big part of it for me and I know a lot of my friends of the same generation will likely show interest in it. Definitely not an everyday watch but it'll be a nice summer watch that will certainly catch attention and be a conversation starter for sure.

Not even a slither of interest on my part. Fangs, but no fangs!

If one is going to purchase it, at least get it on the strap because the bracelet makes it boring.

I like it on both, but I already have a 12 on bracelet so I can just swap it over so went for the cheaper option of the rubber, especially since it's such a unique colour and they probably won't release a strap like that again.

However I note it is not a limited edition but is being sold in a limited time period on pre-order for July. Wonder if that suggests a limited confidence it will sell and they’ll do the build run based on the number of orders. Probably means any leftovers/returns won’t appear until sale in Jan ‘26
Would you say that about the red bel canto which was released in the same way? This is going to be a very niche watch by design, but I actually like the "unlimited limited edition" concept. It kinda stops resellers just buying them up to sell on and also allows anyone who wants to get their hands one one can do so.
Fair point! I have to say the more I look the more I appreciate some of the discreet design changes, including now the dial looking pixilated not the standard Twelve one. As someone who played snake as a teenager I’m trying not to be tempted. But I know it wouldn’t get much if any wear. If they did it in the darker green I recall my Nokia screen as then maybe

^^^^ Talking of discreet design changes I have only just now, reading the Time + Tide review of the watch, realised that the pattern on the dial is different to the standard Ziggurat pattern Twelve;-
Doused in ‘Venom Green’, there’s a lot to unpack with The Twelve Snake’s dial. It isn’t just a new colour and some fun graphics, because the entire stamped texture of the dial has been changed from the Christopher Ward flag logo to an interlocking weave which is more reminiscent of snake scales. It also helps to delineate each individual square of the dial, enhancing the pixelation effect.
