The new logo is definitely visible so they can’t just use the regular dials. I assume it’d have gold indices instead of the regular color as well
I believe that the dials would all be painted first and then the indices applied after, so I imagine that there would be a stock of green 'blanks' to suit a variety of applications. It would be an efficient use of otherwise non moveable stock.

I’m not all that impressed. It does look good but it’s not anything groundbreaking.

Obviously had 100 old dials to use up
I notice no applied logo which I thought they were moving over to for new releases?
Cheers now, Paul

Not sure any of the old dials would have “Chronometer” printed on them though?

Size, material, not-plain dial, date + COSC accuracy. I think it’s a nice package. Not for me for now, but nice

Jerry Maguire might have had me at hello, but

CW lost me at Bronze.

I already have this one in two watches! My first CW was a C60 bronze case with brown ombre dial. Later, I bought the green ombre dialed Sealander with a stainless case. The Sealander is one of the most comfortable to wear watches in my collection. Just too much overlap with what I already have with this one for me. And while my Sealander lacks COSC certification, it keeps accurate enough time & cost a lot less. My Sealander has the GMT functionality & superior 56-hour power reserve for less money. For me, the GMT looks & function coupled with a better power reserve matter more than COSC certification.

@WileyECoyote Yep! I have a few non-COSC Sellitas that run within chronometer spec, including my C63 GMT (+1spd). All COSC is is a guarantee that it will run within spec, which I do enjoy and brings some peace of mind on some of my watches. But it isn't a necessity to me.

I do like this new Sealander, but I was just hoping for something not so similar to an existing CW. It's basically just a hunter green sealander in a bronze case with the new logo. But it will certainly look good gracing 100 wrists out there.

I was expecting to love this (I’ve previously posted about my fondness for bronze watches, and indeed own one with a green dial). For some reason that I cannot put my finger on this just doesn’t quite excite me in the way that I had expected it to.

However congratulations to those talking the plunge, and here’s to many years of happiness with your new additions.

Don't know if it's just me (it's you. Ed) but really underwhemed by the latest spate of CW releases. Apart from the Twelve, which is really not my kung fu, all the recent watches just seem very ... samey, or made up of components from the spare parts bin.

I thought I'd replied to this.

Anyway, I have a similar watch, but with the bezel, and it's my most worn watch at the moment. I would actually prefer slightly bigger than 39mm, but I hope it's a successful issue for CW. :D

The ones with COSC certificates do, surely. All of my COSC watches say "chronometer" on the dial, all brands.

Think I'd be saving my money and buying the C60 bronze.
