Re: Saturdays are usually slow
Well we've been where watch shops don't exist - the Moors. Dogs have had a great time wandering round Vennford reservoir and then we trekked down to Plymouths Barbican for some nosh - fish and chips for us two legs and jumbo sausage for the four legs. Then the four legs got fish as well.
Strangely, neither of them wanted a bite of my pickled onions
Just got home and basically needed to be carried down the stairs and deposited in front of the telly, supplied with coffee and cigars and wrapped up in blankies. Man, I hurt! Still, had a bloody good time, roof was off all day (except for when we parked it) and it's been glorious all day.

Cigars and coffee?? Cigars are bad for you and coffee will keep you awake, I would recommend a nice mellow red!

Looked in the following windows but saw nothing that really caught my eye,Jammy Devil wrote:So, Kip has allowed you time out of the Asylum for good behaviourscooter wrote:Having a day out in Chichester.
Anything to report from the jewellers' shops in Chichester ?
Gold Arts, RL Austen and Perfect Timing.
The former had some Bremonts and the latter some Junghans.
Cracking day out though in the MX5, top down.

Heathen! How can cigars be bad for you? They are the very fruit of the Gods and when coupled with a decent mug o' coffee they revive the spirit and restore vitality to aging flesh and boneCornishDave wrote:Cigars and coffee?? Don't care if they are bad for me, I enjoy them and I've got to make the most of them as I've been informed that I'm giving up on the 31st of this month Something about the wife wanting me to live a bit longer or summat

Hi mate
I've got the Mark 3 1.8 in winning blue. Before that I had a Mark 2.
Brilliant cars, love throwing it around corners and then hanging on to it as the back steps out.
Great stuff.

The Mercs a lot quicker with about 400bhp but the Mazda is a riot - love it to bits.

Yep
Almost, but not quite, as much fun as my 2008 Vespa 125 GTV.
Mind you, she only does 64.5 mph

My Speed Trip does 70mph (and a little bit more occasionally) so ner-nerscooter wrote:Yep

I love all bikes XT to be honest
I'm glued to the tv watching MotoGP, Moto2, 125s and BSB.
There's something exciting about being on 2 wheels knowing that one tiny slip and you're in the mire. Although I always wear an Ixon padded jacket, DMs and jeans, yesterday I thought WTF. I went for a ride wearing all the wrong things, daps, shorts and a T shirt. It was 28 degrees, I was doing 60 mph and it was just so exhilarating. Nothing, nothing on 4 wheels gives me that sort of a buzz.

Re: Saturdays are usually slow
Lorns got her bike licence as well so she used to have a couple of bikes of her own, she loved (as she called it) the swoopy-swoopys and used to gallop around all over the lace on them. Used to worry the crap out of me and I got to hate riding with her just in case.....
Happier now she's quit the bikes for a while, though there is talk of building her a GSX-R 750 street fighter, suitably lowered of course!
