Sale Live
Re: Sale Live
I picked up a NN C63 GMT on a tide strap on day 1. It’s running a little slow (-11s) and has a dink in the bezel, but that’s not important to me. Looks fantastic on my wrist and has picked up the “beater” / daily wear prize …

Re: Sale Live
Possibly worth keeping an eye on it today? I noticed that a new strap popped up overnight (vintage oak camel) and there's a Dartmouth available after showing up initially and then falling off. Maybe your dream watch will appear.
Re: Sale Live
Were there? I must have missed them. There is a C63 titanium but I think I'd like the heavier weight of the stainless steel. But good thought to keep an eye out longer-term. I *think* I can live with the #tide strap it came with until at least July
Thanks!
Re: Sale Live
Having missed the Sealander white GMTs on the first day I've been umming and aarging again whether to buy a bright blue tide strap, as I didn't buy 1 in the previous Sale that it appeared in.
So as it's the final day I decided to order the 20mm earlier today and I've just seen they've all gone so got 1 just in time.
Now I just need to get a watch to suit it as it doesn't go with anything I have at present.

Re: Sale Live
I'm sure, but I had it in my basket and £30 and they emailed me to finish my purchase at that price hehe. Ah well. It was more of a commentary of how prices are meant to go down during sales not up
Re: Sale Live
I went to buy it. Didn't, as I got distracted by work. Then I got an email reminding me to go back and buy it, which I did, but the price had gone up. It's not the end of the world, I just found it amusing!JAFO wrote:^^^^
So they changed the price after you didn't buy it?
Re: Sale Live
I received this today...one I'd always admired and when it disappeared of the website I told myself I would give one a go if they appeared in the sale.
When I saw the Shadow version, I wondered if I'd made the right choice (although that was 30% more) but I really like the abyss.
Legibility isn't too much of an issue, even if you have to take more than a fleeting glance there are worse watches to look at!
I was also pleased it came with manual and COSC cert and in mint condition as the last few NN watches I ordered have all had some sort of dink or scratch.

Re: Sale Live
It's worth keeping an eye on the CW website during next week, as the Sale generally morphs in a Clearance; with the returns from the sale popping up from time to time.Zang11 wrote:Sale coming to an end. Didn't end up with anything this time, but there is always the summer to look forward to

Re: Sale Live
Thickness isn’t an issue for me - similar to my Apex and C60 chrono. It balances really well on the bracelet too, so isn’t top heavy.
