Does the exchange rate still favor buying in £ over $? Just curious, and asking simply to put that option on the radar of new members on this side of the Atlantic.

It appears that the '30% off' Category is the new 'Clearance'.

All models e.g. C60 Sapphire and C65 Military Series 1, have the Christopher Ward logo @ 9, with the exception of the C60 Chronograph (aka #BumbleBeast) and have an SKU of S . . . . and not N . . . (for Nearly New).

Yep. By quite a bit. For grins I threw a Dartmouth on strap in my basket $735. Changed to £ when VAT subtracted came to £510 ~ $607.87 before exchange fees.

When I first logged in there were I think 41 watches listed. Then it shot up to 67. And since they things have died off. Maybe they will add a bunch tomorrow.

It will shave off a bit for US buyers to buy in GBP. For example, the Sandhurst missing COSC is $682.50 USD, but at 1.19 to 1GBP, it comes in at 677.79 USD from its listed £568.75. And folks should remember to factor in their banking fees if exchange rates carry additional percentages, etc.

-edit- I forgot about VAT!

The watch is $541.50 USD after exchange and deducting VAT!

Interesting to note re: changing currency

When I look at the page in US, there are 22 items. I switch to GBP and there are 23 items. As I switch back and forth the single item difference remains.

Its interesting to see a lot of blue Trident on sale. Guess Blue Friday wasn’t going as smooth as expected.

That one extra watch when you switch to GBP has the time measured only in metric, not imperial. Not for the US market. Us Americans wouldn't be able to read it anyway, conversion is too difficult.

That’s why we need smart watches to do that kind of conversion thinking for us. :p

Was it just me, and not because I didn’t want/get anything, but this sale seemed a little low key and flat!!

Different to the usual excitement and feeding frenzy of old. I kinda missed it

Apparently I kinda missed over 40 watches earlier and I'm thinking that as they went while other watches didn't, they must have had some kind of appeal.

The right now "So what"? I've had that sale after sale. Apart from grabbing a Big Blue (my third and final Big Blue) and an SH21 Abyss I've been short arms and long pockets man at several sales.

I have enjoyed seeing some prototypes in the previous sales. There were none today, though it’s still early.
