That was my original thought, as well... Maybe I should've gone for that. Now I'll have the "stress" of owning two automatics. Damn! How to keep them going all the time...julywest wrote:Nice was tempted. Got a c6 figured cheap enuff to use as a beater

I feel your pain. Have 3 autos (think I need to sell the ones that get least wrist time) and then have 4 soon 5 Qz. I know I should be snobby but the Qz are so danged ez. And the price on C6 was just silly. Figured I would keep or give to son.Jape wrote:That was my original thought, as well... Maybe I should've gone for that. Yup. The qz is really nice because of its ease. I'm going for snobby for a while to test how it feels.julywest wrote:I feel your pain. The C6 price was indeed quite silly, I was really tempted. But had I got that, I would have had to buy another type of watch, too...

Re: Sale explanation
Expel the "stress"....it's not a problem and there is absolutely no need to keep them running all the time A rest every now and then just stops them wearing out. Takes a minute to set one when you pick it up and with the variety comes the pleasure of opening the watch box and going "eeeny, meeny, miney, mo - I'll have that one today". Well that's my philosophy anywayJape wrote:That was my original thought, as well... Maybe I should've gone for that. Now I'll have the "stress" of owning two automatics. Damn! That sounds good! I think Russ told me this earlier as well. I guess that will be the philosophy to follow.AliBar wrote:Expel the "stress"....it's not a problem and there is absolutely no need to keep them running all the time A rest every now and then just stops them wearing out. When did you order the watch? Just asking because I haven't heard anything from CW. It's been almost a week now...

Despatch email received. I wonder how long Canada Customs will wear it around this time before they send it on?

First post, so hello all
I was one of those who bought one of the C6's (in black). It'll be my first CW watch, although I did get my Wife one as a birthday present a few years ago.
Ordered 29th December, after receiving sale email. Posted yesterday. Arrived 11am today Just got to survive the afternoon before I can go home to see it!
