A design poll has been put together and every forum member will receive it by email. Simple, fill it in and send it back.

Here is the link to the poll, I'll also mail the link to involve less active members who might be interested anyway:

Just got it. Alas I voted a "NO" but only because a pocket watch is personally not for me hence I never contributed to this thread. Voting no was the right thing to do though as that way both Hans & CW can accurately gauge wether there will be enough potential customers to proceed with the idea. However I am sure there will be more than enough customers who would love it. Although Pocket Watches are not my own thing I really hope it happens for those that do want one.

Good luck folks

Update from Chris re: pocket watch plans....

"Re the pocket watch…we are working in conjunction with a famous English gun maker on some designs…(similar I suppose to the concept Purdy anjd Panerai have come up with)… however its early days and there is no guarantee it will come to fruition…but the work is in progress…."

I hope we can keep up the interest and it all works out.

done it and gave my design preferences. Voted no as I doubt I would actually buy one as I have no real use for it. Depends on price of course so we shall have to see......

Possible, I'm sure that some of these will come through the poll stage.

I think Kip has picked up a few with a Russell face off E-Bay. What year were they manufactured Kip, eighteen hundred and something???
I have Thomas Russells from at least 1897 to 1920. again I hope to offer a group photo of them soon, including the Russell wristwatches I have.
