Nice one Kip, and would you like one manufactured by CW to look almost exactly the same or would you prefer something modern, different and special.
Personally I would like it to be Russell style but with Cw's flair like the C1. I had suggested to Chris to borrow the paddle wheel Tempus Fugit logo and insert that with his name. I also prefer a hunter case but would like to see the inner dust cover as an exhibition cover. This way the movement could really be dressed up and showed off. Rose or 14k gold would be nice or even Sterling. I had also thought a half hunter would be different with an exhibition back. I would also make it a presentation piece of sorts and include a brief history of Thomas Russell and Sons along with a history of CWL and how he has been influenced by Russell. Put it all in a Beautiful wood or leather box with a chain and CWL logo fob. A display stand is also a nice idea from the poll. I guess to answer your question more directly, I would like to see it be something special that Chris could use as a Crowning piece for advertising and pr.

I agree with you, Kip. It's Chris's C1 watch face that I would like ... it just didn't come through loud and clear in my earlier suggestion. I really like the idea of the hunter case, especially for protection, BUT I really want to be able to see Chris's work (as in his C1 watch face :D ) and the movement right away. Why hide it? Show it off :D. I could go for the half hunter idea covering an exhibition back. Yah. The history is a marvelous idea, too. That's one patient's opinon

Alas, my C5AWT is due any day now and my wish list of CW watches is already growing, Why, oh why, did I ever discover Christopher Ward watches? :irre2:

Hello.
Just been looking at http://www.aerowatch.com/ ,a company with great looking pocket watches
and the UNITAS 6497-1 used in some of their not too dissimilar LEPINES collection looks like a likely
candidate.
I particularly like their "SILVER" and their "COLLECTION 1942" models.

Over to you....

I looked at them all and they are all mechanical accept the ladies. These are high end movements. The Valjox 92 is something I've never seen before. Some models remind me of CW's. I didn't see any prices.

Some first results from the poll:

173 people answered the poll-questions
104 consider purchasing a limited CW pocket-watch
69 wouldn't purchase a limited pocket-watch

More details to follow....

I am pleasantly surprised. I did not think the percentage (60%) of people who would consider a pocket would be so high. It gives me hope!
