Returning a watch

Post by Rehjer1980 »

Hi!

I want to return my c12 recieved in December, and as the 60 days period is almost over, I filled the form online.
What happens next? Will someone contact me? I guess so, but I did not get a confirmation message nor an email telling me that they would get back to me. Is this normal?
My search didn‘t bring up any results, but I guess I used the wrong keywords. So if there is already a thread on this subject, please delete this one, I would be grateful for the link then

Cheers
Jerome

Sorry, I don’t know as I’ve never returned one.

Whilst I applaud the 60-day return window in principle, it beats me how anyone can sit looking at a watch in a box (and obviously not wearing it :? ) for two months, then decide they don’t want it.

I bought it, tried it on, but I was not sure. I found the watch very nice but the spark did not jump… wanted to keep it anyway …. But last week I found the bigger model on a marketplace and I prefer this larger 40mm model over the 36mm

Fair play. As long as you are in the 60 day window and haven’t worn it, you should be fine.

You should have received an order confirmation email for item "RETURN-60 - Free return under 60 day guarantee" and you should be sent a postage paid bag to return your watch in. Give them a ring. I've found CW to be very helpful. I'd email them too, so you've got proof you requested a return within 60 days.

Maybe I did not receive anything because it was outside working hours? Maybe this is not automated and has to be done by hand?

If you are close to the 60 day deadline, I wouldn't hang about. Phone them tomorrow and explain your situation and they'll sort you out quickly.

I have held on to watches for a few weeks while deciding. I occasionally try them on briefly. In hindsight I've still returned a couple I sometimes wished I'd kept, but if I bought every watch I liked I would have at least a hundred, and a smaller bank account.

With regard to returns you should see an "order" on your account for the return mailer.

Obviously. I am in the UK so the VAT refund is seamless as it's just part of the price. I really don't know how easy it would be to recover any duty if I wasn't in the UK.
