Return of the C6O COSC

Post by bspj »

Forumites might remember the saga of my NNC60COSC bought in late summer as a Christmas present for me.

I had it sized, then put it away until Christmas. Indeed, apart from some time on the winder to check the accuracy, it rested in a pigeonhole at SantaHQ at the North Pole.

It was delivered undamaged down the chimney on Christmas morning and I wore it with some delight for work that morning, but by late evening it had stopped and would not restart.

I contacted Wera, a return bag was duly sent and the watch was returned at once. It came home today, not by sleigh but by DPD* with an explanation that the balance wheel had been faulty and that the watch had run well for a week. Despite the poor light, I snatched a quick hand-held photograph.

As ever with these matters, the yardstick is how well problems are resolved rather than whether there are problems at all. Being CW, the first time I invoked their warranty was as positive an experience as others had suggested. Well done the team, and thank you.

*almost on time!!!

Good to hear. If you remember, I too had some issues initially and was quite frustrated, but what matters is that the 60/60 guarantee has come through to help everytime and all issues have been resolved. Recently I had to cancel an order, and I was refunded lightning quick on a Sunday during the NN sale. Kudos to Wera and the rest of the CW team.

Santa needs to take better care when he comes down the chimney. Glad it's been fixed with the usual CW customer service aplomb.

Good customer service. Just noticed - is the bezel pip out of alignment?

I think that's just the angle of the picture Neil.

So glad you have it back Steve!
