Good to hear that Downer already has a couple. Which means that If you do manage to 'swag' one, put it away, wait a few months, then sell it. There's quite a market for them. They have a number of variations on a theme in limited numbers. Here's mine:

Hi Lindsey,
I was going to ask for any photos of An0rdain or their other brand, Paulin, if possible. Even though I pulled out of the waitlist for reasons (kind of wish I hadn’t but hey-ho). However, I’ve now seen the Model 3 and would love to know how this looks like in person if possible, please?

Re: RedBar Global event; CWs on show
@monkeymax - I’ll definitely be stopping at the anOrdain stall. I hope I can take pics that will show off the dials (I’m doubtful...)
Re: RedBar Global event; CWs on show
Another request,please Lindsey.
If you can, could you get a photo of the Isotope Moonshot prototype, preferably the one on the metal bracelet, rather than the strap.
At the recent Brighton event, Isotope wouldn't allow any photos of the Moonshot as it was only a prototype.Hopefully he will be less protective of it .
Thanks
David

Haha! I’ll definitely be stopping at the Isotope display. Do you think I’ll have more luck with the moonshot shots? I’m not sure at all but I’ll give it my best shot
Re: RedBar Global event; CWs on show
Good luck at the event... I went to a local (Bristol) Redbar meet-up a few weeks back and it was a lot of fun, so this should be amazing
Astounded how many people were interested in the Bel Canto... quite a few with orders in that just wanted to hold it and confirm it was worth waiting for... was a resounding "yes"

Re: RedBar Global event; CWs on show
I told a colleague the day before I visited Bremont that I was taking the following day off to visit a watch factory.
They didn’t believe me and I was accused of making fun of them.

Iain’s Law: Any discussion on the Christopher Ward forum, irrespective of the thread title or subject matter, will eventually lead to someone mentioning the Bel Canto if the thread continues for long enough.

Aye, there’s the rub. Tell people you are going to a fashion show or to visit a car factory, and they won’t bat an eyelid. Tell them you are going to a watch show, or even that you are going to spend two days in meetings with a watch company, and they’ll think you’ve gone irredeemably off your chump!

Re: RedBar Global event; CWs on show
Looking forward to hearing how this goes Lindsey, and of course seeing lots of pictures!
I only recently heard about the Redbar stuff and it was a bit late for me to plan a trip through on a school day, but I'm really interested to hear more about it as would love to attend a future event!
Edit: Oh, and perhaps goes without saying, but if Clemence are there please get some pics of the Munro for me!

Re: RedBar Global event
I have 30 pics to show you I’ll post them in a series of posts and chat as I go, so check back later in case I have added more. I think I mostly managed to address all your questions - or at least have pics to show you. Some of the pics are pretty poor - unfortunately the lighting wasn’t great for watch pics - those who had stalls by the windows were luckiest.
Here are my thoughts for me, in no particular order:
1. Nobody told me how awesome the Moonglow is. Ok - @ajax87 - you do keep reminding me It looks flat in renders and many photos, but super classy / funky irl. Refined. I’d be buying one if I wasn’t waiting to see the new moonphase.
2. I don’t like titanium. That’s not the same as saying I don’t like light watches.
3. Big up of the day to Isotope Watches. The Hydrium range have beautiful case design, great fit for me, lots of quirky designs. The upcoming moonshot is a fantastic chronograph. Beautiful. Design, detail, thought, funkiness in the whole range.
4. I met with the Bel Canto and was charmed. Fits beautifully. Purple on purple is the absolute standout.
5. The Oris Kermit didn’t have the watch spirits in it after all..,
6. Surprised that it’s the 12 in 36mm for me.

Re: RedBar Global event
I’m going to start with Farer.
There are a lot of pics here because there’s a lot to look at with Farer. They’re adventurous. In colours obviously but also in case styles. In general I liked the chronographs best as some of the other designs I find have focussed on colour slightly more than added detail in other aspects of the case. However, I think the aquamatics are a perfect summer watch package. Farer through and through. Three straps. Nothing more needed in a watch. I’m disappointed to say I forgot to check out the cushion cases
@mvlow - the dark red dials are lovely but to me the Discovery II doesn’t feel as bold on the wrist as the colour is bold. Please bear in mind that I like cases that look like bits of solid architecture! The dark red chronograph I liked a lot. Not quite CW quality I’d say. Definitely bold and definitely Farer. I like their style and I like this particular watch.
@nbg - as above. I really like the Farer chronographs, though I didn’t try the titanium ones. Of the two new ones I prefer the blue. The bezel is more yellow than it appears to me in pics. Waffle dial is quite large in scale- would have been impressed if they’d aimed for a smaller ‘grain’. Quality not quite up with CW. Build ideas simpler; colours more diverse.
