Especially when his business doesn’t stock or sell CW and that he recognises the impact of direct selling

That was a really interesting video with great macro filming of many of the watches, which I have to say all looked fantastic. His analysis of the brand was good too I think. They really were an early adopter of the online only business model; it's worth remembering that there weren't even any smartphones back then. Thought the forum might get a mention too because that is quite a unique aspect of the brand, certainly with regard to the interaction between fans of the brand and the manufacturer themselves. This has obviously had a significant impact with new model and design choices going forward.

Thanks for the link...

A decent video as an introduction to CW for anybody for whom(?) the brand is relatively unknown.

I think it could be a bit confusing though as 1 of the 9o'clock models features quite heavily even after he had finished speaking of the history and growth of CW.

1 of the viewers comments regarding the video was interesting stating that Time + Tide in London were due to become an official retailer of CW watches in the next few weeks. I wonder if this is true or a misunderstanding of the few days that CW will be shown at Time + Tide's London premises soon.

@Amor Vincit Omnia Ha, ha, Steve. Your wrist has taken on something of a minor celebrity status. Btw, what do you think to TB's breakdown of the CW brand? I think he painted the company in a very good light.

An altogether positive commentary by Teddy Baldy: I agree that the artwork was suitably inviting/tempting. I'm not sure that the BC was altogether a "surprise" hero watch unless I factor in that social media-driven demand created a bigger snowstorm than perhaps had been anticipated.

I was a little surprised by his selection from the model range, omitting both sizes of Moonphase in favour of the Moonglow and skimming over the Lumiere quite briefly.

Compared to Andrew Whatsit who seems very much a fanboy this felt like Teddy looking across the Atlantic for the benefit of the US market which is no bad thing.

Yes, as an overview of the brand I'd share the link.
C60 MKI, MKII, MKIII: "some",
C6 & C60 Kingfishers,
C600 Tritechs,
C63 "some",
C65 "some",
C4, C40, C8, C9, C3, C5, C20 & 23FLE
Some other brands

Not that it was a bad video but while watching I kept thinking: "why didn't he just interview Mike France?"

Teddy has always had great production quality even in the early days of his channel when he was doing "men's lifestyle" before choosing to focus solely on watches. CWL had an interesting response to the video...

Not too bad, but a bit lightweight if you want my honest opinion. If you really want to paint a picture of how the company has grown you should include the Jahnke modular movements, the C9 / C1 redesign, and SH21. He rather glossed over those.
