Greetings,

I think the new website is excellent and a vast improvement on the old one!

It's crisp, clean, modern and well presented. I find it easy to follow and navigate around. The pictures are a massive improvement.

The re-branding does seem to fall into line with one or two other companies but I don't have a problem with that.

I also didn't see the need for a change to the logo but it's ok.

As for the new models, I'm off to look at them now!

I don't like the new website at all. It's a pain to navigate, with big pictures that take all the space. I liked that we could clearly see all the watches together on the old website.

I access the website using a tablet and compared to the previous website it is a massive improvement.
As to the logo, I will wait and see how it is incorporated into other watch designs before making a judgement.
A bit disappointed with the C65 as it was on my 'to buy' list but hey ho, there are always other watches.

The thing is that my last 2 CWL watches, the 38mm Trident GMT Mk 2 and the Slimline 2015 FLE, are really lovely watches that look sharp and distinctive.

You had the interesting sword/water-drop Trident hands paired with the huge yellow-arrow GMT hand, the FLE had the C9 house-look pointy hands + sans serif Roman numerals, and the CHR WARD logo - no matter how one feels about it - was different.

Then I compare them to the Mk 2 C65, and all I can see are bland uninspired hands and a super non-distinctive word mark in a modern inoffensive font. I cannot believe CWL is now aspiring to "bland and inoffensive".

Hopefully there will be newer models, post-C65 Mk 2, that are really nice and distinctive, but we''ll see. For now my first impression is that I'm disappointed.

The new chrono and new Walmart offering now seem like they are from different companies.

After reading through the articles in Loupe I am surprised there is no + or x combo logo on the C65, I think it will make its way on to the dial or movement at least sometime in the future (think about the Swiss flag and the x in Xmas... and the Union Jack). There should be a logo design in the mix somewhere! The "Christopher Ward" text by itself is just okay... perhaps "Chris Ward" would've been more concise and easier to work with. (X) Ward or something... maybe Korkki can photoshop something lol.

The website is certainly different and modern.
When the glitches have been fixed I'd say it will be good.
Very surprised to see another new logo though !!
I didn't see a need for a change but the latest logo looks okay and would grow on me I suspect.
Nice to see a 38mm C65 for everyone who was looking for one.
The new hands on the C65 MK2 however leave me cold, me no likey at all !
Just noticed that the new hands look some bit like those on the C20 so maybe they were trying to bring back some heritage from the earlier pieces.

Here are a couple of watches that use similar hands to those on the new C65.

The Pinchbeck hands aren't too dissimilar:

But the rest of the Pinchbeck watch looks a whole lot more classy!

The new C65 is a nicer watch IMO. So cohesive it's boring but cohesive nonetheless.

I actually like that they offer the 38mm model only in a Vintage style as it makes it more significant in the lineup. I only wish they gave us a choice of lume colors as not everyone wants an old looking watch, just the old style.

It looks about as old as bad repro furniture. Get real.
