Can some kind souls please kindly tell if if each of the two crowns in this watch are of the screw down crown type?
Or are both the crown in this watch of the push in type?
Thank you for your time.
r the 2 crowns of C11 Makaira Pro 500 of screw down type?

Welcome to "The Asylum"!
The primary crown is a screw down. The upper crown controls the internal bezel and does not screw down.

Should be noted that the bezel crown is not a push pull crown either, it just turns to be able to set the bezel.
This is done because you wouldn't want to unscrew to set the bezel while under water.

Thanks TC. I should have been more specific.tattoo chef wrote:Should be noted that the bezel crown is not a push pull crown either, it just turns to be able to set the bezel.

Re: r the 2 crowns of C11 Makaira Pro 500 of screw down type
I have a seiko 5 with the same rotating internal bezel and i find the bezel turns way too easily and so i am constantly having to reset it when i look at the watch. Mildly irritating on a £100 watch but would be completely unaceptable on a £500 watch if its the same....

Thats probably the price difference then.. On the seiko, even rubbing the crown that operates the bezel on my shirt sleeve is enough to turn the internal bezel.. Is much more "force" required on the Makaira's? i had been keen on one but was put off by my experience on the Seiko?Deverica Wolf wrote:Don't have this problem on mine.Tomsolo wrote:I have a seiko 5 with the same rotating internal bezel and i find the bezel turns way too easily and so i am constantly having to reset it when i look at the watch. Some force is needed on it, I noticed a few days ago. It wasn't as easy to turn as I'd like but with the problem you are talking about I guess that it is a good thing. I'm sure you'll find it perfect.Tomsolo wrote:Thats probably the price difference then..
