Re: Quick question
Although (being automatic) it relies on wrist movement to keep it going, a few turns of the crown will start it off nicely

Re: Quick question
Don't worry. He cannot destroy it by leaving it in the box for for five days. All it means is that he will have to reset the date when he wants to wear it. A few turns of the crown will get the watch going, then normal wearing will power it up and it will gradually run down in the box when he takes it off.

Re: Quick question
So during the days of non wear would turning the crown a few times be enough to avoid having to change date and time when he needs it

Re: Quick question
Probably not. If you want to keep it going you would need a watch winder. They sell them on the CW website.

Re: Quick question
You can buy a watch winder off amazon or E-bay as well even the piccolo sell cheeper on amazon than on CWL web site :-0 . I have always had a few on a winder it's easy to just grab & go but setting it only takes 2 min's as well.

Re: Quick question
Not to my knowledge as long as it does get used 1 or twice a week it should be fine I wear mine on rotation or just wind it up every week to keep the oils liquidmart76 wrote:So it wouldn't harm the workings of the watch if this is how it's used it wouldn't seize up ?

The Ungrateful monkey, You,d be doing him a favour by keeping it wound.
As the others have said, a winder is cheap enough, but setting it only takes less than a minute.
