So, who ordered something, and what did you order?
How many thought about ordering but held off in anticipation of the potential sale?
I'm going around in circles on this one Andrew, as I'd like to get a C8 Revival but can't decide on the steel or DLC case versions.
Steel as I haven't currently got a steel case CW Aviator but have several DLC case ones; but then the DLC is an LE of only 50 pieces vs 200 pieces, so a tad more exclusive.
Additionally, CW have slipped in several subtle but distinctive design changes, compared to the C8 Pilot Mk2 that, to me, enhance the look and make it a more effective Aviator/Flieger. Spot the differences?
We then get into the realms of the C5.
I owned a quartz version of the original 39mm MkI version for a few months back in 2014/15 (bought and sold for the princely sum of £100). At the time I probably reckoned on it being 'too small'.
Tastes change and now, especially with the C1 Grand Malvern case @ 40.5mm, which I have in the guise of my C1 Powerglow, I've regained affection for CW dress watches.
Holding off for something in the sale? Not especially, as I feel there's nothing I'm missing from CW's current collection; on the other hand, never say never.
