You can still get to them if you click on the products themselves which appear when you search for Special Edition.

Yep, seen them on the CW website directly too! the C5 is very nice indeed... but I already have the C5 slimline. Otherwise I would have been very interested.

Doesn't bode well for the sale though, if CW Towers couldnt get the technicals right on the website for the exclusive preview!

It would appear that not all the blame for this sh**show can be on CW. The people who shared the links on the FB pages would have found them after either seeing Kips post on here or being told about Kips post on here that it would be a secret sale today. Kip specifically said in his post not to share the links, but they did anyway. It would be hard to plead ignorance to the rule as it was not posted elsewhere. If CW have the ability, they should cancel any orders that went through before the password went out.

I just put one in the cart without even having to log in.
For clarification, I asked for the pwd, but haven't had it, and didn't have to enter one.

I am thinking about the C5. The C8 at 44mm will be too big for me.

I can't see CW cancelling sales. There still seem to be watches available to buy.

Yes, I can still go straight through to them without any request for a password.

AFAIA, there hadn't been any official "link" given out when it was possible to find these watches by a simple search of "Special" and it wasn't necessary at that time to input a password to put 1 in the cart. Sorry but IMO that is down to CW.

I know this sounds a bit cynical but I just don't get these at all. What is the point of these two models being resold now? Will there be other revivial models?
I must be missing something. Also the great prices are not as great as the first time round that's for sure!
Cheers now, Paul

My point was that those people searched for "special" knowing it was supposed to be a special sale and not shared publicly, but shared it publicly anyway. I do not believe people just accidentally stumbled upon these links at the exact time they were supposed to be shared privately. It's one thing to be curious and search for the link to see for yourself what the fuss is about and keep it to yourself. It's a different situation when you then share that link publicly knowing it was not intended to be public. I guess personal responsibility is a thing of the past. I feel bad for Kip, who was just trying to do a good thing. Sure CW screwed up by putting the hidden link on their website before it was password protected, but there is blame to share here.

Oops…..

I like the look of the pilots but have enough pilots already. Loved my mk1 c8 so if it was based on that I might have been tempted.

The C65 DiveTimer sold out in 24 hours last year, using up (conjecture) stock of movements and cases. It generated quite a bit of hype.

These are limited edition, excess stock (?) and will generate a bit of excitement…

The C5 is very tempting - looks lovely - just don't know how much I'd wear it! More 'formal' work clothes seem to be a thing of the past, and divers tend to be my go to nowadays with their more casual look.

But it looks pretty..........!!!
C60 Concept/Black Elite 1000/C60 Mk 2 Black
C7 Rapide/C8 P2725/C11 Makaira Elite
And a couple on order................
