Well, having not really followed the relaunch much, and not utilising the preview, I last night ordered the C8 in Silver.
Why was I pondering and not seeing what was right in front of me ?
I'm constantly looking at Various Submariner, OP and Explorer Homages at 3,4,5x the price of the CW.
A highly legible watch, no date, open case back, 22mm lugs for all my spare straps and from one of my favourite brands.

Can't wait 😀

Regards Steve

Not sure what’s going on. Doesn’t appear to be a scalper at this price. The DLC cases went fairly quickly as I recall. Hope the link works.

It's not a buy it now, and it's US, so no VAT. I assume he's hoping for a last minute flurry of bids.
Where they £550UK, so that's about £460 without VAT, so about $600. Does that sound right?

Yep, that’s about right. $595 US from the US website. Just thought it strange to start it that low if the party just didn’t want it. Could have returned it. Anyway, if someone missed their chance….

Steve, I think you that you made a great choice! A lot of watch for the money. I have been pondering the same idea myself. Even for CW, this one costs less than they normally do.
