Sounds like it needs a service.

My Omega was down to less than 10 hours reserve and even 1800 Turns per day on my winder was keeping it running. Had it serviced and it easily lasts 24hours plus without movement from (I presume a full wind) and seems to be very happy at 700 tpd on my autowinder.

Today it stopped completely and on checking the self-wind rotor was jammed. It took a lot of nudging to free it.

It clearly hasn't been working right since the last repair. :(

Emailed Wera, but I suspect it will need to go back again - third time!!

My acquisitions will all be manual for the foreseeable future. Only problem is that my grail brand is automatic, so if I ever acquire a van der Klaauw I will have to get a winder! :problem:

Got an email at 11am today to say they've received it back.

Got an email just now to say it's been shipped back to me.

I wonder what they found! Doesn't seem time to test/fix unless the rotor just so happened to have jammed in transit!

What sort of power reserve are people finding they get in real world usage?

My C8 only seems to give around 10-12 hours before stopping. I'm sure it used to be more! Not a complaint, just an observation!

When restarting, how many winds are people doing and are you doing just clockwise or 'rocking' the crown both ways?

I find the C* H******n 5 D** A*******c only gives about 4 days in real world usage. Very disappointing.

Impressed so far! The engineer working on my watch just called to discuss the issues and check he understood them. Cannot imagine that happening with other manufacturers. :D

Sounds good.

Hope CWL will get it sorted for you.

My C8 and other CWL watches, is generally good for 36 hours before it stops.
