Thank you for the posting the photos, this is a great story.
When I was bound apprentice in famous Lincolnshire,
Full well I serv'd my master, for more than seven year,
Till I took up to poaching, as you shall quickly hear.
Oh, 'tis my delight on a shining night, in the season of the year.

I am really please that the father has been located, I thought it may be a long shot but worth a try. I only wish I came here earlier. Great community here. Sorry for the hiccup with the photos not being displayed hopefully everyone can see them now.

Thank you all for your help it was very much appreciated.

Such a great story. Hopefully someone gets a new old watch for Christmas.
James, you are a top notch fellow. I hope you will stick around for a while. You haven't mentioned if you are a 'watch guy' yourself at all? We welcome all comers here, not just Christopher Ward owners. Feel free to join in on the conversations if you have any interest in watches.

Well done James, Wera and all involved. Let's hope the chap gets his watch back.

"Thread of the Year" is up soon. This should be a contender. Not because it's clever or funny. It's just good.
