I’ll just leave this hereIMG_2588.jpeg
After all the comparisons between the Twelve and the Antarctique, my immediate thought was this model from last year.

Surely not. CW wouldn't homage a Czapek would they?

Is the lume illuminated in those pics, or is it blue?!
I really cannot work this out!
Work out what I mean by my question or work out what we’re seeing with the lume?
From the article that was shared, it sounds like the lume is actually blue, not simply glowing blue.
Well it looks like blue paint with a blue coloured lume. You don't often see blue indices do you?

I actually like the Czapek, although the Tiffany blue is a bit hackneyed now. I don't like the sparse dial with no markers, and I imagine I won't be keen on the price.
The CW version might be very pleasant with different colours, and maybe a bit bigger. It's a very attractive concept, I think, even if there's a bit of "homage" involved.

With the right watch the blue indices can be appealing, as with an earlier collaborative design.

Got hands on at British Watchmakers Day. It’s rather nice!

I think this look on the Trident would be crazy good. Love the dial.

I must say I am quite tempted by this. I assume there will be some left over after oracle time subscribers have first dibs?

Today was the day for these. I had been tempted to upgrade my free Oracle Time subscription in order to improve my chances with priority access, but in the event I decided against it. Or forgot to do it. One of those.
Anyhow, there were some left for general release at 2pm BST and as the saying goes, I have a new watch arriving in July.
