I've never had problem with screw down crowns, other than the inconvenience of adding a few seconds to the time setting process. I never force the crown down when screwing it down. That said, I do prefer straight pull out crowns, since I frequently hand wind my watches. I don't have any Selitta SW200 movements.

Have you considered a watch winder?
