Definitely. I was very interested to understand what hand finishing gets you on the steel SE that isn't on the Ti. To my eye, I don't see much of a difference at all, even comparing pictures side by side.

I had compared both of the pictures on C Ward's website and to be honest I can't tell much of a difference between the SE steel and the Ti version as far as finishing. So I was trying to understand if the SE had anything "extra".

@quasitime - the basic difference is that the C12 X (Ti) is machine polished, whereas the Twelve X Steel is hand polished.

To my knowledge the Twelve X Steel has nothing 'extra' over the C12 X (Ti).

Personally though, if there is any difference in finish between the two it is marginal and hard to be seen by the naked eye.

A final point; the C60 Concept (on the right in the duo photo) is also, as best I recall and like the Twelve X Steel, hand polished.

It was an easy decision for me. The hand finishing of the Steel one, and the greater pop of the dial overall made it an easy choice. Nicer rotor too.

Then there's the fact that the steel is limited.

Yes, I had the C60 Concept for a while, and it is hand polished.

Lovely watch, but it was too big and chunky for me.

@JasH were you also able to see them side by side in person? Just curious.

I'd long been a fan of the Oris Propilot skeleton, but they never seemed to be able to make it smaller. I've been searching for a decent skeleton as long as I've been into watches.

Sadly I've not been able to see them side by side at the same time, yet.

@JasH would love for some more impressions when you do get yours. Or anyone that already has it. It's hard finding real videos and pictures in the wild that aren't PR pieces or from the Ti release 7 months ago.

I agree it’s stunning and your pics assuage any worries I had of deciding to cancel my Ti order for the s/s version.
Would you mind reposting the pic of it and the C60 concept as a single shot so that I can take a good look at the detail comparison?

These look amazing. Does the steel have the on-the-fly micro adjust bracelet? Can't see it listed as a feature anywhere on the webpage?

On the blue rubber strap from CW that arrived today. It really transforms the watch - not for the better/worse - just looks and feels very different on the wrist. A great alternative combination.

Mine has still not shipped, and no update from CW.

But yes it should have micro adjust.
