Not getting any customer service response
Not getting any customer service response
Anyone else having had experience with CW cancelling your confirmed order and then not getting any feedback on when you get your refund? Are they running out of cash?
Re: Not getting any customer service response
Had the same issue—ordered on the 25th, it was canceled on the 28th. Still no refund in my account.
Emailed them today and got a quick response saying:
"Apologies there was an issue I spotted with the refunds and this was an error our side.
I have worked hard with the IT team and now all refunds are processed and another email will be sent to all customers effected.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused."

Same thing happened to me. Very poor form to miss their obligations on this point. It's a mystery to me how they prioritise inbound support tickets.
Re: Not getting any customer service response
Thanks. Got a similar message a couple of hours ago. Still don’t have the cash and don’t understand why this is not processed instantly (today). A payment takes seconds to process and to hit your account.
if we get it today. I doubt it.

Below is the response I got earlier today:
"...Apologies for this as it was an error on our part, I noticed the refunds had not processed through correctly so this has all been rectified and the funds will be showing as completed or pending by close of play today. An email is also being sent to all customers effected. Apologies for any inconvenience caused...."
At 5:27pm UK time - no refund received.
What a shambles.

Re: Not getting any customer service response
Same thing here regarding the samples sale on 25th March. Ordered a Dune. Had the emails apologising for allowing for watches to be sold that they did not have, and for the errors processing refunds.
Again, was assured “the refund will show completed/pending by close of play today” This was Friday.
I have no idea what that statement means, but no refund has arrived as yet.

Re: Not getting any customer service response
Just a quick tip.
If it takes a while to get a response by email just call them. My experience is that their customer service is actually really good over the phone.

Re: Not getting any customer service response
Calling the US number goes to voicemail and they dont call back. I really wish they would just outsource customer service at this point since they are not going to hire more people in England.
I had a watch order canceled on March 25th. They said I would get refund in 7 days or sooner.
I contacted them on April 2nd asking for update on refund, I was told "it was stuck in our system", 3 days or sooner.
I reached out on April 9, no response. I emailed again on April 11, no answer.
I emailed again April 15th, and got a response that there was "glitch in the system" and that they will "manually refund"
If this was an option all along then why did no one think of this. Why do I have to keep submitting new requests for same issues. At some point in every customer request email thread the assigned party like James Wilson or Joseph or Isobel or Poppy Stewart or Katie or Amy Stevens or Khizra Noor just stop responding.
Then I keep responding in the same chain for days, eventually end up submitting a new customer support request on their website for the same issue.
Very frustrating.

Re: Not getting any customer service response
I have purchased 6 watches and 10 straps this year alone. I wish they valued current customers and were able to provide them service/support.

Re: Not getting any customer service response
I appreciate your concerns here. If you look at their accounts, this year their turnover is over double last year, but their net cash position is about half what it was a year ago. Where has all that money gone!? I ask that question because many many watches of theirs are pre-order only, and some they even ask for part payment whilst the watch is being developed (e.g. the Bel Canto).
They are operating like a very lucrative Kickstarter campaign, where the customers are bankrolling them to a degree. I avoid them these days, and miss the days when you could order a watch and actually receive the one you ordered, usually the next working day.
