I feel your pain, having recently been a victim of low life cowardly scrotes who have nothing better to do in life than break into peoples homes and steal things.
Hope the situaton gets sorted as best it can.

How about deleting this thread in case the *******'s do a search and come across this. Perhaps better that they advertise them on ebay or Gumtree and expose themselves rather than give them a heads up that the owner knows the serial numbers.

Just a thought or there could be a sub section on the sales forum "watches to look out for" or something. Then it's only those with access who can view.

Sorry to read about the theft, I've been there; I know how you must feel.

That's an interesting idea. There's also the possibility that the forum is what led them to the location in the first place. I've not seen anythin to suggest that should be the case here, but ive seen other people with photos outside their house ec that could be used to target them.

My friend recently got a bass guitar back after someone bought it at a cash converter and googled the details and discovered it was stolen, so on that basic I think having the serials here is a good thing.

Geo tagging of photo's with smart phones gives a rough location that's why my geo tagging is off. But even some top end cameras have ego tagging now so be careful when posting pictures everyone ;-) .
