Hi everyone!
Two questions i'm curious about...
(1) I have a C4 silver with a brown strap. I wondered if anyone could recommend any other non-CW straps for this watch? Or have any links to sites that provide them? I like the CW but I was curious s to other ideas (love the watch!).
(2) I have a white(cream) faced C3 which I just purchased one of the old alligator straps for £25 on clearance. I notice that the new alligator straps are £120 - £13. Are they that much better??
All the best!

Were the cheaper ones just "alligator' embossed leather?
Most 'Alligator' straps are just that, the new ones are, apparently, the real deal.

Re: Non CW straps for Silver C4? difference between Alligators
Just fitted my alligator strap to my Aviator. Strap is not supplied with pins so reused the current ones. Strap has a polished clasp so swap over with the Aviator frosted one to match the watch. Reamed the pin holes of the main strap fitting through with small screwdriver to open and remove traces of glue. Fitted pins and snicked in place into watch lugs. Now have a very very smart Aviator with Alligator strap...recomended!..UB..

I have a black Alli on my C3 but it doesn't look as good as the new straps, small scale pattern rather than the excepted larger scale pattern.
Must of been from a baby Alligator or just the tail end!
Mind you it is still better than run of the mill leather or mockgator
