No more watches for me! :-(

Post by carlt69 »

It's a sad sad day but for the foreseeable future there will be no new or used watches for me :-(

On a good note though we have just purchased our our next house : thumbup:

So can I ask you all to please not sell anything that I might want to buy for at least 12 months so my finances have time to recover

Congratulations!!

You just bought a house......no worries.....keep buying because your finances won't recover for 20 years anyway.

Dont worry about it!

Just compare it as a percentage to your house price and you can justify pretty much anything! :)

If you buy one on sale you can tell everyone how much money you saved. :)

Thanks everyone for the moral support, I think

It's not moral support: we're just trying to appease our own consciences.

Congratulations on your new house and commiserations on not being able to satiate desires for shiny ticking things for the foreseeable future. An easy fix for this would be to show your wife this thread and leave it up to her to keep your mind otherwise engaged. I would put money on endless DIY or new house chores.
