Most of the watches I have purchased have been nearly new. I had a problem/issue with 3 of them. One the movement needed to be replaced which was done very promptly, a C1 had a small scratch on the bezel which polised out with a cape cod cloth and the other was a small dink on the bezel of a C70 DBR1 but a lot have or get this anyway. All in all a great way to buy. I always buy thinking there may be a huge flaw so am normally well happy. If you are not happy you can always send it back. Most I have had looked perfect and 30% off a bargin

I'd previously bought 2 NN watches at the same time.

One was great and looked, yup, practically new. However, the other had obvious scratches all around the bezel, and stopped running (it was a quartz) at 5pm every day for the few days that I tested it. I had to return it. Naturally, CW were very good about the refund of the purchase price and also the cost of shipping the watch back to them (I'm not in the UK), but it was very inconvenient.

1 NN - I really would never have known it wasn't brand new.

2 NNs - 1 was as new, the second had quite a few scratches on the back - but as it was a limited edition, and they didn't have any others, I kept it anyway.

It is a bit of a gamble, therefore. At least if you buy a new one (in the sales, naturally), the issue doesn't arise.

Two NNs, both of which looked like a brand new watch.

I have had a few NNs which have all been as new. I did have one with a few dinks in it and as it was PVD they showed through so it was sent back for a full refund with no problems.
