A newbie question about the Nearly New sale.... Does the Christopher Ward 60/60 return and warranty still apply to Nearly New products?

Thanks... may be I can get my watch early....

ok a few more questions....

And what is the normal condition of a Nearly New, I understand they are not brand new, but how worn can they be? I understand finger prints and things like that, but what about scratches or anything seriously wrong with the watch?

If I can pull it off, is it easy to cancel a pre-order? Just call the customer service and cancel it? Thanks.

Yes, the 60/60 guarantee does apply.

I have bought a few NN watches, and each has been perfect. Some people have had a different experience, but it's luck I suppose. If you buy one and are unhappy with it just send it back. My experience suggests you won't be.

My first CWL watch was NN, and I asked exactly the same questions as you. :D

I picked up a C60 in the jan NN and it was basically brand new. There have been others with a different experience and I seem to remember a lengthy discussion on the forum about.... Have a search I'm sure it will pop up. Cheers

There's watches on there with the marked prices reduced and it looks like some have gone already.

Works for me... Not much on offer tho. Previously there have been loads of watches in the NN. Oh well, someone will pick up a bargain.

The plea failed :(

Orders came in from around Midnight last night before the sale went live.

If one of those was you then there's a good chance the order did not process. You were warned

I was naughty last NN and still regret causing the chaos back in January. :(

Learnt my lesson, tucked away my fingers until receiving the official acknowledgement email, and happily looking forward to the C2 now 8)

Good. I hope the people who jumped the gun, even if it was a few minutes, before it went live end up not getting their orders processed. It's nt fair to those of us who decided to wait for the email to try and purchase them.

Perhaps in the future, CW might consider using some other arbitrary designation rather than the NN that everyone seems to do a search for. This way it will prevent the chance of people jumping the gun. You can't jump the gun on what you can't find.

It is a bit silly that you can access and apparently order before the sale is actually "live". In a way you can't blame people for trying especially if, like me, you STILL don't get the e-mails!

Having said that, if they subsequently lose out for giving in to temptation early then I have little sympathy..........

I have to admit I struggle with this. If there is a page on an internet site advertising products at a given price, then surely it should work...

It cannot be impossible to align the inventory, order process and web pages so they can all be activated with the press of a single button. :?

I am with Aifo as regards the last nn sale. :(

So, now I decided to wait although I looked at the watches last night. And obviously I was helped by the fact that nothing on offer was a must have. :D

(Edit: I was an idiot and hadn't checked actual new pieces on sale...now that I did, and spotted the only one, C2, I placed an immediate order. 8) )

I do think, as well, that CW are partly to blame themselves since you can actually see the stuff before the sale is live. I also think that maybe other designations could indeed be used. Additionally, they could vary the dates of these sales. And no beforehand info even on the forum before their system is actually ready to receive orders.

Their web developer should be able to prepare the pages without them going live. Then make them live at 9am or whenever.
